This is a build for LA to Sanctum Cay and LA over to Maguuma Jungle. Its simple to use. Cast Dwarven Stability then Echo and Dash. If you have a high investment in your deldrimor title rank then you can get dash to last up to 6 seconds - ideally you only need it to last over 4 seconds and then you can continually run both copies of Dash until the 30 sec duration of Echo wears out, from which you can switch to Dark Escape while Echo recharges. If you're going through a tough area like Cursed Lands then you can echo Dark Escape and it will help you get through the lightning dudes that can deal a fair bit of damage to you if you aren't properly healing yourself.
With good practice, this build grants you +50% movement every 30 seconds with a downtime to +25% for 10 seconds. Prep time is about 1-2 seconds every 40 seconds. Compared to most other builds, this is by far the fastest one out there. If Dwarven Stability is removed but you have echoed Dash, then you'll have a minimum of +37.5% movement in a 30 second average with the same downtime.
If you guys have any tips, or have your own mesmer runner build that you'd like to share, then... please.

Well I haven't bothered to get mine past 4. It lasts 27 seconds before adding the enchantment mod from your weapon.
The main focus was just on Echo, dash and dwarven stability... the rest of the skills are the most effective to keep me alive. Given the profession scope of Me/A :S

Yeah, I figured that, lol. Was just checking to see, since some builds like this that require whatever title skills need to have the corresponding title maxed out. Plus I didn't want to do the research on wiki.

Add Mindbender and you can have another 6-16 seconds at 20-33% depending on Asuran title.
Enchantment Spell. For 6...16 seconds, you move 20...33% faster and your Spells take half as long to cast.

I saw that skill, but it doesn't stack if you're already running dash, and fast casting is already high enough not to worry about the HCT of spells. I guess it could be useful as a panic, but I think a skill like Feinged Neutrality or Shadow Sanctuary would be just as helpful.

I tried running to Yaks and then to LA. Works pretty well. It's just Scoundrel's Rise that can be a problem. Take a skill like Hex Breaker - now that it's not a stance anymore you can stack it while you're running.
I reckon shadow form runners would do well in the desert, since Chilblains is targettable now. That skill was my main problem prior to it's change.
I've raced against a few professions (because my runs are usually free, they are attracted to race me even more). Dervishes were the most common. I reckon they have the highest survivability, but in the length of time it takes for them to get ready you're pretty much out of their radar range anyway Warriors using charging strike were a challenge and you only run faster than them slightly. Rangers have more 25% stances than 33%, so they wern't too bad. I also get the odd "Mesmers can't run, wtf noob!" And then I race them and they just leave as soon as I reach the town, lol.
And sorry Katsumi, actually, all of my other gwen titles are rank 4. When I finished the game I used the book on the deldrimor title rank which is now at rank 7.

So is this just basically a fast way to run very easy zones that you can generally get through with just drunken master? It doesn't appear like it can run any of the more complicated zones at all. Obviously it can't do droks runs or anything, but can it even do the desert?

Divine lol! Yes Mes can. Mes have hex breaker, mes have Illusion of Haste which prevent you from being Cripple. So yeh, it's awesome at running. LOL I guess HAHAHAHAH

Droks is the 'only' complicated run. Don't understand what the 'or anything' means. I can't find my quote where I said it couldn't do droks runs (I actually might have but I cant see it.) In actuality, I haven't tried to learn how that run works. Maybe this build can work, maybe not, but you can't say that it can't unless you've tested it. Sorry.
Drunken Master is inefficient. I've tried it, and not to be a math wiz, but 50% is faster than 15% when sober.
Ascalon to sanctum cay to Maguuma is a big area. Yes *cough* that's 'easy'.
It is 'the' fastest build. Low down time, high speed, medium survivability.

Unless you have spell protection it really cannot run through areas with a million ice imps with deep freeze and/or mind freeze. In any case, I can say with 100% confidence that it will not run droks unless you manage perfect spawns and dash your way around the ice golems/imps. I am also venturing that shadow refuge won't be enough to get you through the first big group of tundra giants, and unless you have r7+ in delv and run the whole thing drunk, you'll get knocked down all day long.
Anyway, fun little build to echo-dash. I would recommend 'I am Unstoppable' for the optional slot - great for keeping the cripple/KD off and adding some armor. I would even go as far as removing Feel no Pain for hex breaker too (I think Feel no Pain kinda stinks ) Definitely the fastest. Maybe you can advertise 2 minute Ascalon->Sanctum runs lol

in areas where u need to run with big dangerous of spells .. u can use Shadow Form , or Dual Mesmer run :]

Yeah I just spent some time back in EotN and got "I Am Unstoppable!" It's a really nice skill. Updated the original build to suit.
